Questions

Where does the planning data come from?

From the planning authorities' own open data: the Irish National Planning Applications dataset and the open feeds of London Borough of Camden, City of Bradford and Northumberland County Council. Most UK councils publish no open feed, so UK coverage is partial.

Do you publish who applied?

Only company applicants, and only where the authority publishes the name. Ireland publishes no applicant. Applicants that read like private persons, agents and architects are never stored.

Which applications are included?

Commercial schemes and residential schemes of ten or more units. Householder, listed-building, tree, advertisement, retention and condition-discharge applications are dropped.
