UK visa sponsor registerCompliance & risk

Is this UK employer a licensed visa sponsor, and since when?

The Home Office list of licensed sponsors is a large file with no company numbers and no history. We load it every week, join each sponsor to its Companies House number and website, and record when an organisation is added or removed.

For: Recruiters, immigration advisers and HR teams checking whether a UK employer can sponsor work visas.

Questions

How often is the list read?

Weekly. An organisation that drops off the list keeps its record with the date it was removed.

Are sole traders included?

No. Organisations that read as a natural person are left out.
