This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses the API, the MCP server, the demo or the data. Write to [email protected] if you are unsure whether a use is allowed. Ask before you run, not after.
What the service is for
Collecting public business and product information at scale: reviews of businesses, product listings and prices, job ads, travel prices, app and store data, and similar. The data is meant for analysis, research, monitoring and building products.
No personal data
Our scrapers are built not to return personal data, and you may not use them to collect it.
- Do not use the service to find, track, profile or contact individual people.
- Do not send inputs that point at individuals, such as a person's social media profile, a private seller's page that names them, or a search for a person's name.
- Do not try to recover personal data that our scrapers removed, for example by combining our rows with other sources to find out who wrote a review.
- If personal data reaches you anyway, delete it and tell us so we can fix the scraper.
Public pages only
- Do not use the service for pages that need a login, a paid subscription or a captcha to view.
- Do not give us credentials, cookies, session tokens or API keys for another website, and do not ask us to use them.
- Do not point scrapers that accept a web address at internal networks, admin panels, unprotected databases or anything else that was clearly not meant to be public.
- Do not use the service against a site whose owner has asked us to stop. We remove those sites from the catalogue.
Rates and fair use
- Stay within the limits on your account. Do not open several accounts, share keys between businesses or rotate keys to get past them.
- Do not run the same query again and again for no purpose. Repeat calls cost the sites we read and cost you.
- Do not test, probe or load-test our API, MCP server or website without our written agreement. Report security problems to [email protected].
- Do not sign up automatically, in bulk or with disposable email addresses.
Reselling
- You may build products on the data and sell those products.
- You may not resell access to our API itself, wrap it as a general "run any scraper" service, or give your keys to others. [L1]
- Do not republish the rows as a copy of the source website or of a substantial part of its database. [L2]
Unlawful and harmful use
Do not use the service or the data:
- to break any law, including data protection, consumer, competition, copyright and database law;
- for spam, fraud, phishing or fake reviews;
- to discriminate against people, for example in hiring, credit or housing decisions based on data about individuals;
- to harass anyone or to harm the sites we read, for example by placing orders or posting content based on scraped data;
- for anyone subject to EU, UN, UK or US sanctions.
What happens if you break this policy
We may refuse a run, revoke a key, suspend the account or close it. In serious cases we report the use to the authorities. Where the breach was caused by a mistake, we tell you what was wrong and give you the chance to fix it, unless the harm is ongoing. Credit spent on runs that broke this policy is not refunded. [L3]
Questions for the lawyer
Remove this section and every [L] marker before publishing.
- [L1] Our engine provider's terms forbid a generic "run any scraper" product and the resale of its platform features. Is this reselling clause enough to keep our customers from creating that exposure for us?
- [L2] Is a ban on republishing "a substantial part" of a source database a sensible way to manage the EU database right (Directive 96/9/EC, Art. 7) for our customers and for us?
- [L3] May we keep credit spent on runs that broke the policy, and can we suspend without notice under Bulgarian law?
