Check a supplier list: status, VAT and tax-risk lists
Paste up to 25 suppliers, one per line: a website, a VAT number with its country prefix, or a registry id or company name followed by a comma and the two-letter country. Or upload a CSV or Excel file with the columns domain, vat, id, country, name (template).
| Row | Company | Register status | VAT (EU VIES) | Tax-risk lists | Most serious change, 90 days |
|---|
What the answer means
It is a check of public registers and official lists, not a credit rating. How each register is covered and how accurate the data measured: Supplier Watch coverage.
For developers and AI agents
The same answer is one API call per supplier (one without a key, up to 10 domains per call with a key):
GET /v1/suppliers/risk?domains=GET /v1/suppliers/risk?vat=GET /v1/suppliers/risk?id=&country=
Base URL https://api.arcadiumdata.io. Every route in the API guide; agents can use the supplier_risk tool of the MCP server.
Questions
What is checked for each supplier?
The company behind the row in the national registers we hold, the status its register last showed, the last answer of the EU VIES VAT service for its VAT number, whether it is on the official Czech list of unreliable VAT payers or the Slovak VAT deregistration lists today, and the most serious change of the last 90 days (dissolution, insolvency, strike-off, invalid VAT, overdue accounts) with a link to the official source.
Why only 25 rows?
Without an account each row is one anonymous lookup, and anonymous lookups are limited per network (30 a minute, 300 a day). To check more, follow the list on Supplier Watch: free for up to 100 companies, with an upload for CSV and Excel files.
Is my file uploaded?
No. A CSV or Excel file is read in your browser; only the domain, VAT number, registry id or name of each row is sent to our API, one row at a time.
What about sole traders?
A row that could belong to a sole trader or a natural person is withheld: companies only, never personal data. There is no credit score either: this is a check of public registers and lists.
