Alternative to OpenCorporates
Arcadium Data compared with OpenCorporates
OpenCorporates: A UK company (founded 2010) that publishes a large open database of companies and sells API access and bulk data. This page sets what they publish next to what we publish. Every cell on their side links to the public page it comes from and was checked on 2026-10-25. Where we could not find a fact it says "Not published", which means we did not find it on the pages we checked, not that it does not exist. Companies change their pages; if something here is out of date, write to [email protected] and we correct it.

Where we differ
- Priced by volume: 250,000 calls a month are €199 here; their page lists 2,500 calls a month at £6,600 a year (call definitions differ, see our pricing page).
- Each company is keyed by website domain as well as register id, with hiring, public contracts and change events attached.
- A remote MCP server for AI assistants.
- Company-level data only: no names of directors or officers.
What OpenCorporates offers that we do not
- A much wider register set than ours (see their jurisdiction list).
- We leave out officer and director data on purpose, because it is personal data.
Coverage by country and history depth: coverage. Sources and licences: data sources. Our datasets hold company-level data only, no personal data.
