Fields we read
- name and organisation form (AS, ASA, NUF ...)
- industry code (NACE, SN2007)
- employee count
- registration and foundation dates
- website when the company states one
- bankruptcy, liquidation and dissolution flags
- business address municipality and postcode
Never read: e-mail, phone and mobile numbers, street lines (they can carry c/o names), activity free text and roles. Companies only: sole proprietorships (ENK), associations, housing co-ops and public bodies are skipped.
How our API joins it
Everything we publish is keyed by the company website (domain). We pair each register ID with a domain in three ways, each with a confidence score: the website the register states, a VAT crosswalk (a CORDIS participant's VAT equals the national ID in NO, FI, FR and PL), and a unique company name in the same country matched against the names we hold for domains. Ambiguous matches are dropped.
Today the pairs power the joins behind company pages, tender winner pages and the company card. A public look-up by register ID or VAT number is on the Company ID roadmap and not in the API yet: see company lookup for what works today.
