With Lever, until October 2025
From November 2025 the public web archive barely captures jobs.lever.co, so Lever’s line stops there. Up to then Lever went from 26.6% to 14.5% of observed employers among the five vendors.

Wins and losses, October 2025 to October 2026
Wins are employers first captured on the vendor; losses are employers whose board has been gone for three crawls and is not live today. Switches are the part of each we can tie to a move between two vendors.

Who moves where
The most common dated switches since 2023 (383 in total: 26 in 2023, 122 in 2024, 117 in 2025, 118 in 2026). Moves away from Lever after mid-2025 are under-counted because of the archive gap.
Share among the 22,446 employers whose job boards we crawl every day. This adds the vendors the archive does not cover (Personio, Teamtailor, Recruitee, Oracle, Workable). It is our directory, built from the archive and from probing company websites, not a random sample of all employers.

Method and what this does not cover
Share among the employers we observe in the public web archive (Common Crawl), not the whole market: an employer counts once per ATS, from its first capture to its last plus two crawls.
The archive covers five ATS host zones (Greenhouse, Workday, Ashby, Lever, SmartRecruiters). Personio, Teamtailor, Recruitee, Workable and Oracle appear only in today's live snapshot.
Lever gap: from 2025-11 the archive barely captures jobs.lever.co, so Lever is shown only before that month and the four-vendor series (without Lever) is the one to compare over time.
New employers in the first crawls (up to 2023-06) are not counted as wins: that is the archive's first look at boards that already existed.
Switches are dated from board succession on the same company domain (old ATS last captured, new ATS first captured); companies we cannot tie to a domain are left out, so switch counts are a floor.
Country and size cuts cover only employers we can place: country from the live boards and the domain, size from the median number of open job ids per crawl.
Coverage of this edition: 31,251 archived job boards merged into 27,183 employers; 12,399 tied to a company domain (11,043 from our directory, 293 from archived redirects, 1,063 from the board name), 10,602 with a country.
Data: ats-market.json (CC BY 4.0, cite “Arcadium Data, ATS market share”). API: GET /v1/ats/market and GET /v1/ats/switches (docs); MCP tool ats_market (setup).
Questions
Is this the market share of each ATS?
It is the share among the employers we observe in the public web archive and in our daily crawl, which leans to companies whose job boards are public and linked from the web. Read it as a trend and a relative ranking, not as a vendor’s customer count.
Why does Lever stop in October 2025?
From the November 2025 crawl the archive captures almost no jobs.lever.co pages, which would look like Lever collapsing. We stop Lever’s line there and compare the four other vendors over the whole period.
How is a switch dated?
To the month the new ATS board first appears in the archive, or to the month the old one disappears when both ran in parallel. The old board must be gone for three crawls and not live today.
